Our Wedding Weekend
Our wedding will be celebrated over the course of the weekend, from Friday through to Sunday, and we would love for you to join us for as much of it as you can.
For planning and catering purposes, we kindly ask guests to RSVP separately for each event:
Friday Evening — Welcome gathering from 18:00 on the lawn.
Saturday — Wedding celebration in the Pink Church. All guests must be seated by 15:15 (unplugged ceremony).
Sunday Morning — Farewell breakfast from 09:00 at the hotel entrance.
Please indicate your attendance for each day when completing the RSVP.
All venues for the weekend are within comfortable walking distance.
A note on Sunday breakfast
For guests staying at The Lord Milner Hotel, breakfast is already included as part of your accommodation.
The Sunday breakfast RSVP applies to all guests, including those not staying overnight at the hotel.
Dress Code
Friday evening & Sunday breakfast: Keep it casual and comfortable.
Saturday wedding celebration: Formal evening wear. No colour scheme – just bring your most elegant look for the wedding.
Bar
Cash/card bar will be available throughout the weekend’s festivities.
Plus Ones
We’d love to celebrate with everyone, but space is limited. Plus ones are by invitation only – if your invite includes a guest, it will be indicated on your invite.

FAQ’S
Are kids welcome?
We love your little ones, but this is an adults-only celebration, unless specified on your invitation.
What time should we arrive for the wedding?
Our ceremony starts at 15:30 on Saturday, 4 April 2026 in the Pink Church. We ask that you be seated by 15:15 – this gives you time to enjoy a stroll through the gardens and grab some water before we begin.
Will this ceremony be unplugged?
We’re going unplugged for the ceremony – let our photographers do their thing. But before and after? Go wild! You’ll find printed QR codes around the venue to share your photos with everyone.
What is the dress code?
Keep it casual on Friday and Sunday, but dress to impress on Saturday – we’re going formal for the big day. Ladies, keep in mind you’ll be walking on garden paths and historic grounds – choose your heels wisely or pack a stylish backup!
Where should we stay?
We’ve reserved the entire hotel for our guests, but capacity is limited, and bookings are on a first-come, first-served basis. If you plan to stay in Laingsburg instead, book early – it’s Easter weekend, and accommodation fills up quickly. Depending on demand, a shuttle service may be arranged between Laingsburg and The Lord Milner Hotel.
Will there be meal options for dietary needs?
Absolutely. When you RSVP, you’ll be able to indicate any allergies, intolerances, or if you’d like to request a vegan meal. We’ll make sure everyone is well taken care of.
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by 15 February 2026 for the wedding weekend, including Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday breakfast.
WHAT ABOUT PARKING?
Parking is directly in front of the hotel. Park on Friday arrival and you won’t need your car again until Sunday departure – all weekend events are within walking distance. Parking is safe and secure.
